Chelsea have been charged with two offences by Uefa, both relating to last week's controversial Champions League match in Barcelona.
The governing body are unhappy about Chelsea's late return to the pitch for the second half and Jose Mourinho's failure to attend the post-match managers' press conference.
The London club claim they are in the process of making a formal report about an alleged half-time discussion between Barcelona's coach Frank Rijkaard and the referee Anders Frisk. “We have notified the club that the matter will be dealt with on March 24 and they can can submit a statement to us,” a Uefa spokesman said.
