EC says Portugal‘s GDP to increase 0.4% in 2005

Brussels, Belgium, 21 Nov – The European Commission has lowered its forecast for the growth of the Portuguese economy in 2005.比利時(shí),布魯塞爾,11月21日 – 歐盟委員會(huì)已經(jīng)降低了對(duì)葡萄牙2005年經(jīng)濟(jì)增長(zhǎng)量的預(yù)測(cè)。
According to forecasts by the EC issued Friday, Portuguese GDP will increase by just 0.4% this year, 0.8% in 2006 and 1.2% in 2007.根據(jù)歐盟委員會(huì)上周五作出的預(yù)測(cè),葡萄牙今年的國(guó)內(nèi)生產(chǎn)總值將增長(zhǎng)0.4%,2006年增長(zhǎng)0.8%,2007年增長(zhǎng)1.2%.

The previous EC forecast issued in April this year estimated Portugal‘s GDP growth at 1.1%.今年4月,歐盟委員會(huì)曾預(yù)測(cè)葡萄牙的國(guó)內(nèi)生產(chǎn)總值將增長(zhǎng)1.1%.
The figure from the EC slightly less pessimistic than that issued by the Bank of Portugal which cut its GDP growth forecast for 2005 from 0.5% to 0.3%.歐盟委員會(huì)的新數(shù)字比葡萄牙銀行的預(yù)測(cè)數(shù)字還樂觀一些,后者將葡萄牙2005年預(yù)計(jì)GDP增長(zhǎng)量由0.5%減至0.3%.
