Macau, China, 09 Dec – Air carrier Viva Macau, the first low coast long haul airline in Asia will begin operating in June 2006 and its first destinations will be in Southeast Asia, the company‘s CEO said Friday in Macau.
中國澳門12月12日電-澳門Viva航空公司首席執(zhí)行官周五在此間稱,Viva的第一批亞洲長途航線將于2006年6月投入營運,目的地是東南亞國家。
“We are going to start operating in June and by the end of the year we should be flying to the Middle East, India and the European continent, specifically Prague and Budapest,” said Andrew Pyne.
Andrew Pyne說“我們希望在2006年6月開始營運,2006年年底將營運中東、印度及歐洲大陸,特別布拉格和布達(dá)佩斯的中長途航線?!?BR> Pyne said the new airline, headquartered in Macau, is currently deciding whether to use Airbus A-350, Boeing 747-400 or 767-300 airplanes.
Viva公司設(shè)在澳門,目前正在決定新航線使用的機型,空中客車A-350、波音747-400或767-300都在考慮范圍內(nèi)。
Viva Macau also aims to provide flights to Australia, New Zealand and the United States.
Viva還打算開設(shè)到澳大利亞、新西蘭、美國的航班。
The company expects to have 25 percent of its revenue come from cargo transport and has plans to have a fleet of 12 airplanes by 2010.
