•Ability to deliver under pressure and against deadline
•Strong interpersonal skills and teamwork spirit
•Maturity
•Excellent writing and presentation skills
•Relevant internship experience as a plus
•Minimum 3 working days per week
Scope of work:
•Provide communications support for major projects and events such as m
edia workshop, employee townhall meeting, tradeshow, customer seminar, CSR eve
nt, etc.
•Lead at least one project independently during the internship
•Develop and edit newsline articles
•Design, build and manage Public Affairs knowledge management system and
platforms
•Assist the development of corporate collaterals and other communication
/sales tools such as brochure, case study, newsletter and etc.
•Assist Internet/Intranet content development

Dow offers the PA Intern Program for undergraduate and graduate students who h
ave sincere interest in communications and public relations, and the passion a
nd creativity for making changes happen. We provide broad learning platforms,
challenging development opportunities, along with a fun team culture and great
work environment.
The incumbent will have an opportunity to independently lead a project, or par
ticipate in project teams to execute a trade show, a media campaign, a stakeho
lder engagement event, or develop integrated communication strategy for a CSR
program. Dow will provide strong coaching and mentoring throughout the duratio
n of the program.
Upon successful completion of the program, the incumbent will have an opportun
ity to compete for a full-time position in the Public Affairs Development Prog
ram at Dow.
