As a software development student, you will work closely with other engineers
and researchers in a team environment. The key to being successful in this rol
e is the ability and passion to learn and solve problems while staying focused
and aggressive on the goals.
Eligibility for this position includes:
* Currently enrolled full-time students at an accredited university or res
earch institution.
* Attained Bachelors degree and be actively pursuing a Masters or PHD deg
ree.
* Be able to work at our Shanghai office 4 to 5 days a week for at least 6
months.
Useful technical skills include:
* Knowledge and experience of C . Experience of C# and/or Java is a plus.
* Solid knowledge and experience in data structures and algorithms and be
able to apply them to solving problems.
* A good understanding and interest in software development practices, inc
luding source code control, agile methodology.
* Good 3D geometry and related math skills is a plus.
* Knowledge and experience in high performance computing (distributed comp
uting, cloud computing, GPU computing, etc.) is a huge plus.
* Be able to work under directions and adhere to team goals. Be able to wo
rk independently on assigned learning and research tasks.
