Microsoft Research Asia is recruiting interns for Stars of Tomorrow Internship Program.
微軟亞洲研究院是微軟公司在美國(guó)本土之外的基礎(chǔ)科研機(jī)構(gòu)，被美國(guó)技術(shù)雜志MIT 《Technology Review》譽(yù)為“世界上最火的計(jì)算機(jī)實(shí)驗(yàn)室”。 自1998年成立以來(lái)，啟動(dòng)了面向亞太區(qū)高校博士生、碩士生和優(yōu)秀本科生的“明日之星”實(shí)習(xí)生項(xiàng)目。該項(xiàng)目由微軟亞洲研究院和國(guó)內(nèi)外高校共同執(zhí)行，旨在培養(yǎng)高素質(zhì)的計(jì)算機(jī)基礎(chǔ)研究人才。實(shí)習(xí)生進(jìn)入微軟亞洲研究院后深入到每個(gè)研究小組進(jìn)行為期三個(gè)月或更長(zhǎng)時(shí)間的實(shí)習(xí)。截止至2011年9月，已有4000名來(lái)自亞太區(qū)高校的學(xué)生到微軟亞洲研究院實(shí)習(xí)，平均每年有400個(gè)實(shí)習(xí)機(jī)會(huì)開放給所有的學(xué)生。

Group Overview
The University Relations (UR) program nurtures strong mutually supportive partnerships between MSR Asia and the academic community. Since MSR Asias inception, the University Relations program has recognized the inherent value of the academic research community and the need for collaboration between academia and industry to advance the state-of-the-art in computer science. The foundation for all Microsoft Researchs University Relations efforts is a deep respect for the “virtuous cycle” that is created when university and industry researchers work together. Roles & Responsibilities
Supporting UR communications related works including:
1. Website update and maintenance.
2. Drafting and collecting information for brochures, newsletters, video, feature stories and etc.
3. New communications initiatives if any.
Required Qualifications:
1. Strong English and Chinese writing skills.
2. Computer Science related background.
3. Good communications, project management and interpersonal skills.
4. Well-organized, initiative taking and self-motivated.
5. Related work and voluntary experience a plus.
6. Knowledge on Computer Science is a plus.
7. Preferred to work at least 6 months, with permissions from your academic advisor.
