男生說想問教授關(guān)于他的essay，而教授有一個meeting要參加（出題：問教授為什么不想給這個學生時間），并不是office hours,教授指出男生的問題是citation problem, there're two major citation, Chicago and MLA，Chicago Citation normally put the footnotes at the end of the page, while MLA citation put the footnotes in the end of each sentence。教授說it's fine to choose either one of them, but you need to use them consistently。also, the professor pointed out some other problems about his essay, The sentences are too long which kind of confusing, The professor suggested the man to go the the writing center where he can get some guidance by the tutor（有題：為什么要給他推薦writing center，我選的是帶tutor的那個，好像是C）. The professor will be glad if the man came up with another draft of his essay. The due date of the essay is three weeks later, so he has plenty of times to revise it.

有一個海域，基本上以fishing 為生，有一種xxfish，很多很多fish游到這個海域breed，另外還吸引來了shark去吃這類魚的egg, 學生提問說這種shark是whale還是shark?老師說這不是mammal,而是一種體積的shark。這種罕見的shark attract lots of tourists to view（這個是某題的答案）。當?shù)厝艘詅ishing 為生，賣這種魚gain lots of profits. 但是這就產(chǎn)生了問題。如果一味的捕撈，那么這種魚最后就可能越來越少，egg少了，就沒有shark了，后來這個地方開始限制捕魚，特別是在fish breeding 的海域。漁民轉(zhuǎn)行做了導游，比如,diving, showing around，也引入了eco-tourism，漁民們也因此獲利了不少。這就是環(huán)保與economic雙贏的例子。

professor talks about the development of tracking method of bird migration.
以前科學家給鳥一個metal bands，去track 鳥的route.但是這樣做產(chǎn)生了很多問題。比如科學家只能知道鳥類到了哪個地方，但是不知道他們在飛行中間是怎么perform的。（我上面有沒有說？有題問為啥要綁那么多metal bands）
后來科學家又發(fā)明了radio signal 的方法，放在鳥身上，但是這樣做，科學家必須待在車里一直tracking，如果鳥類從水上飛過，那么將給科學家?guī)黼y題（這里有題目，好像是radio有啥缺陷）。
最后，科學家有了satellite，這個方法很convenient,并且發(fā)現(xiàn)，有一種鳥，在飛行途中，受wind 和 temperature 的影響。還有一個特別的現(xiàn)象是，有一次，他們到達了一個地方略早，如果晚到幾天的話他們可能就趕上了壞天氣?，F(xiàn)在還不知道鳥類是怎么探知這一天氣預測的，但是這決不是一個coincidence.

professor讓大家去看一個展覽，特別要讓大家注意的是一個剛剛挖出來的art。這個art有一個特殊工藝，就是用將金改造并撾上去的技術(shù)（詞比較生僻，記不住原詞了，有圖片）并且這個學生可以在展覽里自習觀察這個畫面，非常清楚。重聽題：教授為什么要強調(diào)這貨有2600年（學生說的是1000幾百年來著，選項記不得了）。還有題目問：這貨為啥出名還是珍貴？好像是選擇因為它的圖像還很清楚（選項還有上面greek的文字很清楚，這個選項肯定是錯的。具體是不是選我說的那個我就不敢確定了，你們仔細聽一下）。

這個地方生產(chǎn)petal，在亞洲非常好賣。當?shù)厝薚s－seller－將這種petal 賣給European的shipper。一開始european shipper賺了很多錢。但是后來他們開始虧本了。
因為，這種petal市場是seller's market 原來seller‘s market 是這題啊，我上面那個lecture弄錯了，不好意思啊！反正有題沒記錯，如上，which means that the price of this product was determined by the sellers。由于european shipper給TS的東西，比如medal后者是jewelry，Ts已經(jīng)不感興趣了，所以他們不愿意再將花時間和經(jīng)歷將這種東西找到并賣給european shipper. 他們開始大幅提高價錢。因為他們知道european shipper要去提前將船安排好，所以他們會出高價來盡快達成協(xié)議（有題問他們?yōu)樯兑敲醇保?
