We are currently seeking a Data Analyst – Meeting Services to join our team in Beijing, China.
POSITION OVERVIEW:
The meeting services team is responsible for the collection, validation and overlaying of ISS Codes for all US/ADR (American Depository Receipts) meetings on a timely basis. The team is also responsible for the procuring and coding of mutual fund companies. The team also confirms votable securities of all manually created meetings and subsequently advance these meetings to governance research.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Procure and process meeting materials • Perform coding data collection responsibilities • Daily monitoring of the coding queue to ensure that all meetings are processed during the day • Daily allocation of workload to make sure that work is equally distributed within the team • Engage with the Issuer for discrepancies through emails • Ensure that meetings are accurately coded to minimize regressions • Ensure that proper communication is established between the data analyst and research analyst, for internal queries • Participate in various working committees and/or projects
DESIRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
• College degree or equivalent work experience • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple tasks • Strong attention to detail • Demonstrated self motivation • Open mind with a taste for improving processes • Ability to work within a team-oriented environment • Good communication skills • Moderate knowledge of MS Office and MS Excel
