    First, it's not fair to other stu who also carry lots of heavy books to finish work in the liberary.She is a second-grade student and she has 5 classes at the end of the semester so she need lockers too.
    Second, the liberary will lose a lot of books because some forth-grade students will take books off the shelf and lock them in their lockers.That is a headache.
    4.The professor talks about egocentric thinking in children, which means that children think other people will see or understand the world in the same way like them.
    e.g.A child was lead in a room with a small house in it.The child was standing in front of the house, which has a red door.The researcher went to the other side of the house.When he asked the child :" what am I watching?", the child answered:" A red door." which was exactly the thing that child was watching.
    5.The man's problem is that he should pick up his friend at the airport but he wants to attend a reading event of a book by the author he likes.
    First solution: tell his firend to wait for him for an hour, and he will pick up him after he attends the event.He is a close friend who may not mind hanging out in the airport reading or eating.
    Second solution: pick up his friend at the airport so he will miss the event.He may not have another chance to see this author's reading event.(越寫越覺(jué)得自己立場(chǎng)太明顯了……)
    6.Two adaptions for redwood trees.
    First adaption is the chemical ingredients in its leaves, which make the leaves tasting too bad that the insects don't eat them.
    Second adaption is the large and strong root system in every direction, which can help to stablize themselves even in strong storms.

    TASK1 描述倆你讀過(guò)的學(xué)校的不同。
    TASK2 你喜歡電子產(chǎn)品一上市就買還是等會(huì)兒再買。
    TASK3 學(xué)校要給大四的在圖書館提供personal locker。 對(duì)話中的女生不同意,覺(jué)得unfair,每個(gè)人都有heavy burden,而且locker放在書架旁會(huì)讓別人直接把書放在柜子里不放上書架,不方便其他人找書
    TASK4 children egocentric thinking,就是小孩都覺(jué)得別人看到的跟自己看到的一樣。教授用了一個(gè)例子,說(shuō)researcher讓一個(gè)小男孩站在一個(gè)小房子正前方,researcher站在屋子后,然后問(wèn)小男孩researcher看見了什么,小男孩說(shuō)researcher看見一個(gè)red front door,明顯這是小男孩自己看到的。
    TASK5 男生朋友坐飛機(jī)來(lái)看他他得去機(jī)場(chǎng)接,但他又想去參加一個(gè)他很想去的講座。兩個(gè)方法是他讓朋友等一個(gè)小時(shí)他結(jié)束講座了去接他,另一個(gè)方法是不去講座
    TASK6 介紹一些樹能活longer time的兩種strategy,都用red wood tree做例子,一種方法是樹散發(fā)一些chemical讓insects覺(jué)得難聞以prevent attack。另一種是強(qiáng)大的root system。

    task1 比較你去過(guò)的兩個(gè)學(xué)校。
    task2 有些人喜歡買最新的數(shù)碼產(chǎn)品,有些人喜歡等一段時(shí)間再買,你傾向哪一種?
    task3 reading里面是講:學(xué)校圖書館要增加locker,但是只提供給大四的學(xué)生使用。 locker的位置在圖書館書架旁邊。
    listening里面講:女生不同意。理由1:不應(yīng)該是提供給大四,雖然女生是大二學(xué)生,她每天也要背很多書去圖書館,很累,這樣不公平。 理由2:書架的位置不好。同學(xué)借了書不愿意去1樓的reception登記,直接把書放進(jìn)locker里面,這樣其他要借書的同學(xué)找不到書。
    task4 reading里面講一個(gè)概念:egocentric thinking。大致是說(shuō),小朋友認(rèn)為別人的思維方式跟他們是一樣的。
    listening里面教授舉了一個(gè)例子:researcher把一個(gè)小男孩帶到一個(gè)房子面前,這個(gè)房子的墻是紅色的,然后researcher到房子后面,問(wèn)小男孩research看到的墻是什么顏色,小男孩果然說(shuō)是紅色的。但其實(shí)那面墻不是紅色的。

    task5 男生遇到一個(gè)問(wèn)題,他的一個(gè)friend要來(lái)看望他,男生要去機(jī)場(chǎng)接他的朋友,路程要1個(gè)小時(shí),但是那天剛好有男生很想看的書的讀者會(huì)(類似的這個(gè)東西,沒(méi)聽清楚),時(shí)間沖突了。
    男生有方法1:讓他的朋友在機(jī)場(chǎng)等他一個(gè)小時(shí),等他參加完讀書會(huì)后再去接。但是男生覺(jué)得很不好意思,因?yàn)榕笥褟暮苓h(yuǎn)地方特地來(lái)看他。
    方法2:不參加讀書會(huì)去接朋友,但是男生覺(jué)得很遺憾,因?yàn)橐院蟛恢肋€有沒(méi)有這樣的機(jī)會(huì)。
    task6 教授講為什么有些樹很長(zhǎng)命。long-lived trees。給出兩個(gè)解釋。
    原因1:一些樹會(huì)分泌化學(xué)物質(zhì),會(huì)讓insect覺(jué)得很苦,讓insect不去吃他們。
    原因2:這些樹有很廣很深的root system,讓樹在大風(fēng)吹的時(shí)候不會(huì)倒。
