At搭配時間點：
at six o'clock， at noon(morning 和 afternoon的交點)， at night。
注：所謂的"點"都是抽象意義上的點，實際上，任何"點"都有一定的長度或面積。
特殊情況：at Christmas (但on Christmas Day)， at Easter， at the weekend(美國用on the weekend)
注：at Christmas 和 at Easter 是指圣誕節(jié)或復(fù)活節(jié)這個時節(jié)，而非一天，而on Christmas Day則是一天。
On搭配某一天、某一天的朝夕、形容詞修飾的某一朝夕（實際上也是某一天的朝夕）：
On October 1st， on Friday， on the morning of October 1st， on Sunday morning， on the following morning， on a fine morning， on a quiet evening， on New Year's Day.
In搭配比一天更長或更短的一段時間。
In the morning， in summer， in December， in 2008， etc.
另外，相對時間tomorrow 、yesterday等 加朝夕不用介詞。yesterday evening， tomorrow morning， last night。
