Taking Undergraduate College Entrance Exams 談談大學生入學考試
In the U.S. there are 2 basic college entrance exams. Some schools prefer one over the other, but most schools will accept either one. Differences do exist between the tests, but they both are very similar.
在美國有兩種基本的大學入學考試。有些學校更傾向于采用其中一種，但大多數(shù)學校兩種都采用。兩種考試有一些差異，但大體上很相似。
1) ACT: This test has several sections. It tests your understanding of logic, grammar, reading, and math.

2) SAT: This test has 2 parts: Math and English. This test is similar to the GRE except it is easier. Both of these tests only test basic skills. However, in the U.S. the entrance exam is only a small part in the application process. Colleges consider many other things. Even if don't
do well on the exam, you can still get into an average college.
