華東政法大學附屬中學創(chuàng)辦于1954年，原名上海市番禺中學，是長寧區(qū)一所基礎扎實，聲譽優(yōu)良的一所完中。2009年被評為上海市長寧區(qū)實驗性示范性學校。2012年評為全國特色學校。
Established in 1954, Middle school Affiliated to East China University of Political Science and Law ，once named Panyu Middle school, is a complete secondary school with a good reputation and solid foundation and was cited as an Experimental and Demonstrative School of Changning District in Shanghai.
多年來，學校秉承“明德精業(yè)”校訓，提出“走進生活、生命對話、和諧發(fā)展”的教育理念，把 “注重學校內(nèi)涵發(fā)展，提高學生綜合學力，努力建設長寧區(qū)實驗性示范性中學，使傳統(tǒng)特色項目在全區(qū)，乃至全市產(chǎn)生示范效應”確定學校發(fā)展目標。在重點項目“優(yōu)化學程，提高中學生綜合學力的實踐”的引領下，實現(xiàn)了學校教育過程真正走進學生生活，真正體現(xiàn)師生之間、生生之間的民主、平等、合作與對話，體現(xiàn)教育過程中生命的互動與創(chuàng)造，實現(xiàn)了學生、教師和學校的共同發(fā)展,共同營造了精神成長的和諧家園。
Over the years, our school has adhered to the motto “Brightening in Morality; Excelling in Learning" and raised the education concept of the "Go into life, Cherish Life, and Create Harmony Together". The school also Identifies the development goal, which is focusing on the content development of school and improving students’ Integrated academic ability, striving to build a experimental and demonstrative secondary school in Changning District and making these traditional featured projects have a demonstrative effect in the district and even the whole city. Guided by the municipal project "optimizing course, improving students' comprehensive professional qualification", we make the progress of education become part of students' life, truly embody the democracy, equality, cooperation and communication between teachers and students and among all the students, reflect the interaction and creation of life in educational progress, achieve common development of students, teachers and the school and create a harmonious home of spiritual growth.
作為上海市二期課改實驗學校，學校著手構(gòu)建以“多元·綜合·體驗”為特征的三類課程體系，即課程結(jié)構(gòu)多元化、課程內(nèi)容綜合化、課程實施體驗化，促進學生素質(zhì)的全面提高。在全面提高教育教學質(zhì)量的同時，學校發(fā)展了 “和諧·融合·力行”的德育特色和“規(guī)范·實效·創(chuàng)新”的科技教育特色，把鑄造以“責任·協(xié)作·成功”為特征的專業(yè)化教師隊伍作為重點發(fā)展項目，努力建設一支師德好、觀念新、業(yè)務精、能力強的師資隊伍，促進學校可持續(xù)發(fā)展。
As a second -phase course–reform experimental school, our school has started building a three-course system with the characteristics--diversified, comprehensive and experiencing" which refers to the course structure diversification, curriculum content, curriculum implementation of integrated experience.
At the same time of comprehensively improving the quality of education and teaching, our school developed the moral educational philosophy "harmonious -confluent- practical" and science and technology educational philosophy "normative effective and innovative" . Focusing on casting a group of professional teachers with features of "responsibility, cooperation, success", our school has worked hard to build a team of teachers with noble ethics, new ideas, excellent teaching skills and good ability to promote the sustainable development.
經(jīng)過全校師生的努力，學校先后榮獲上海市文明單位、上海市普教系統(tǒng)德育工作先進集體，上海市二期課改研究基地，上海市科技教育特色示范學校，長寧區(qū)教學工作示范學校、長寧區(qū)藝術教育特色學校等多項榮譽，在社會上享有良好的聲譽。
After the joint efforts of staff and students, the school was rated as Shanghai Model Unit, Shanghai advanced collective in moral education, Shanghai second-phase course reform experimental research base, Shanghai science and technology education model school, Changning District teaching demonstration school,,Changning District Art Education Specialist School and so on. Our school enjoys a good reputation in society.
2009年12月24日學校更名為“華東政法大學附屬中學”。
The school was renamed as " Middle school Affiliated to East China University of Political Science and Law" on Dec. 24th, 2009.
