[02:37.94]For thousands of years men could not fly.
[02:45.09]It was very difficult for them to fly because men have not got wings.
[02:52.43]The first plane with an engine was the Flyer.
[02:57.68]Two brothers,Wilbur Wright (1867-1912) and Orville Wright( 1871-1948),built it.
[03:04.61]On December 17th,1903,
[03:10.04]Orville lay on one of the wings of his plane and started the engine
[03:16.68]The Flyer slowly rose into the air.
[03:22.14]It only rose 10 feet and flew 120 feet, but it flew.
