Description:
RIMES, a leading global financial data provider, combines the power of data, technology and professional expertise to deliver the most sophisticated financial market data solutions. We are currently looking for a data developer to join our team in the Shanghai office.
As a data developer in the RIMES Data Technology group, you will assist in building and operating data acquisition, custom analytics and reporting processes. Ideally, you will bring your interest in large-scale numerical data collection and financial market data processing to the team along with resourcefulness and a collaborative work ethic.
Responsibilities:
- Data Analysis and processing
- Requirements analysis and specification
Required Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor or Master in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, Chemistry or related fields is preferred
- Perl, SQL, MS Windows
- Ability to analyze and solve problems
- Solution design skills
- Work independently, results driven & detail oriented
- Flexible and efficient at multitasking assignments
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
- Must be fluent in English and Chinese (Mandarin)
Desirable:
- Strong programming skills
- C, C++, XML, HTML
- MS Excel® and MS Office®
- Knowledge of financial markets and financial data
