Technical Marketing Development Program
Location: Kangqiao, Industrial Park, Shanghai
Program Objectives
Accelerate the development of early career entrants into technical marketing professional savvy, through a 15-month intensive structured program combining classroom training, rotational assignments,interactive seminars and coaching.
Off-program Roles & Responsibilities
Technical Marketing Engineer
Provide sound technical & commercial solutions on product- application
development to customers and OEM/brand owners
Support application and Product Development/Improvement projects withcustomers as well as within SABIC
Support segmentation plan with Business Management and Sales Organization
Analyse segment & application market trends, gaps, competitors portfolio and opportunities and implement segment strategy in close collaboration with Business & Sales according to Business Plan
Provide inputs on required product portfolio strategy in line with market needs and the production capabilities of SABIC assets (NPI/NPD)
Provide regular technical/market segment training to Customers and SABIC Sales to increase awareness and seek further market opportunities
Support in translating market analyses in T&I projects (product developments, product phase outs, product cost price reductions)
Assist Technical Centre on complaint analysis and provide advice on final technical complaint justification Eligible Requirement
Bachelor degree or above (Polymer Science, Chemical Engineering preferred)
Academic level (polymer, plastics, material science, chemical & mechanical engineering)
0~2 years polymer experience in the field of processing, marketing, R&D, laboratory or manufacturing
Fresh graduate’s candidates who have extensive intern experience or are active in extra-curricular activities will be preferred.
Possess broad functional understanding or work experience in a relatedindustry
Good communication skills including effective command of written and spoken English
Adaptability to international environment with different cultures
Strong analytical and interpersonal skills
Demonstrated personal leadership and effective collaboration skills
Strong drive for results
