北京王府外國語學(xué)校創(chuàng)辦于1996年，是在北京市首家公辦民助學(xué)校——北京景山學(xué)校分部的基礎(chǔ)上改制而成的寄宿制學(xué)校。學(xué)校秉承“中西融合，素質(zhì)教育”的辦學(xué)理念，融合中國基礎(chǔ)教育的傳統(tǒng)優(yōu)勢、世界先進(jìn)教育的精華，將國際先進(jìn)的教育思想、內(nèi)容方法和中國傳統(tǒng)文化相結(jié)合，為學(xué)生提供優(yōu)質(zhì)的國際化教育，大限度地滿足學(xué)生的發(fā)展需要，培養(yǎng)國際化精英領(lǐng)袖人才。
Beijing Royal Foreign Language School (RFLS) was founded in 1996, and was the first privately funded school in Beijing. RFLS was a branch campus of the famous public school, Beijing Jingshan School. As an innovative private residential school, we strive to combine the best of Chinese educational traditions and international educational philosophies, contents and methods. RFLS provides a learning environment in which all the students can learn well, be happy and safe. They are motivated and able to flourish and achieve their full potentials as well as feel a sense of fulfillment. The aim is to give all the students the confidence and enthusiasm to become successful, life-long learners with an appreciation of and respect for others.

王府外國語學(xué)校的課程體系讓孩子在全面均衡發(fā)展基礎(chǔ)上實現(xiàn)個性發(fā)展;讓孩子在獲得扎實的基礎(chǔ)知識和基本技能基礎(chǔ)上發(fā)展創(chuàng)造能力;讓孩子在多樣化學(xué)科學(xué)習(xí)并獲得較寬智能知識和技能基礎(chǔ)上探索職業(yè)生涯;讓孩子在理解民族文化基礎(chǔ)上發(fā)展創(chuàng)造新價值文化。這種創(chuàng)新、多元文化的融合能夠幫助學(xué)生在日新月異、充滿機(jī)遇和挑戰(zhàn)的世界舞臺上鍛煉成精英領(lǐng)袖。
語文課程高出國家課程標(biāo)準(zhǔn)，增設(shè)國學(xué)啟蒙，注重中華優(yōu)秀傳統(tǒng)文化教育。數(shù)學(xué)課程參照國內(nèi)課程體系，增加了在現(xiàn)實生活中解決問題和數(shù)據(jù)處理的元素，因為國內(nèi)的數(shù)學(xué)課程因一貫取得成功而著稱。
王府外國語學(xué)校的課程體系非常注重培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的英語能力，尤其是交際英語能力。我們設(shè)置有趣的、互動的和整體的英語課程，并通過活動和優(yōu)化的課程逐步擴(kuò)大他們的詞匯、建立語法體系。我們致力于培養(yǎng)學(xué)生完美的雙語能力。
除了核心課程(中文、數(shù)學(xué)、英文)，學(xué)校提供社會、科學(xué)以及戲劇、藝術(shù)和音樂方面的課程。另外，體育活動不僅能提高學(xué)生的身體素質(zhì)、發(fā)展團(tuán)隊技能，也有利于領(lǐng)導(dǎo)能力的培養(yǎng)。其它豐富多彩的課外活動，目的也都在于培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的興趣、自信心、想象力和創(chuàng)造力。

Our academic program aims to develop his/her own individuality on the basis of well-rounded and wholesome development, helps to demonstrate creative ability on the basis of a solid grounding in basic knowledge and skills, enables to explore career paths on the basis of broad intellectual knowledge and skills in diverse academic disciplines, and inspires to create new values on the basis of an understanding of the national culture. The result is an innovative, intercultural synthesis that prepares students to become leaders in a fast-paced, multinational world bursting with challenges and opportunities.
Our Chinese curriculum stressing the seamless integration of Classic Chinese Culture within language arts exceeds the National Standards and is enriched with Classical Chinese Enlightenment. Our math curriculum is based on the Chinese program, which consistently succeeds in producing success and enjoyment in this area, and is enriched with elements of real-life problem-solving and data handling.
We focus from the beginning on providing students with a solid grounding in the English language, especially conversational English. We create a fun, interactive and holistic English curriculum to help children learn English progressively, building up their vocabulary and grammar through fun activities and structured classes. We aim for our elementary students to become fully bilingual in English and Chinese.
The core curriculum (Chinese,Math and English) is enriched through projects in which social studies, science and natureare studied, and through a dynamic program of drama, art and music. The games program develops personal fitness, team-skills and leadership skills. Students participate in a variety of extra-curriculum activities, all of which provide interest and variety to their education and build students’ confidence, imagination and creativity.
We use a holistic approach to education that shows children how fun it can be to learn. As they learn they will be loved. Never pressured.Never falling through the cracks. Always tenderly nurtured.Always protected. Positive self esteem will take root.
We practice and teach innovation, discovery, and creativity. We have high standards for achievement and academic performance for our faculty and students alike. Our curriculum helps prepare students with international vision and strong English skills for their further education in the famous institutions worldwide.

RFLS promotes a cross-curricular and inquiry-based approach to learning, whilst recognizing the benefits of discrete subject teaching. Courses in different disciplines are grouped together to focus on real-world challenges with economic, environmental, scientific, cultural, and ethical components. RFLS fosters a commitment to excellence in exploring learning across the disciplinary boundaries through an American-style curriculum.

四、招生范圍
王府外國語學(xué)校面向全國招收一年級新生4個班級，每班25人。同時招收各年級少量插班生，中外籍、港澳臺學(xué)生混合編班。
五、報名須知
1.電話報名或直接來校報名。
2.申請各年級入學(xué)的學(xué)生必須通過我校的綜合面試和筆試。
3.根據(jù)合格的面試、考試結(jié)果，學(xué)校發(fā)出入學(xué)通知書，家長接到通知后，按學(xué)校規(guī)定時間到學(xué)校招生辦公室辦理交費入學(xué)手續(xù)。
4.由于2014年的學(xué)位有限，請您在學(xué)校安排的時間內(nèi)為孩子報名繳費。學(xué)位的確定是以繳費日期為準(zhǔn)。
