英文:
    Cheer Up
It's nine o'clock on a beautiful spring morning.
Ken went out to exercise very early and just returned home.
He sees his sister, Tracy, who doesn't look very happy.
Ken: Cheer up! Tracy. It's such a nice day today. Why do you look so down?
Tracy: I have to stay here and help today, but I would like to go out with my friends.
Ken: I don't know why you can't, I'll stay here and help mom.
Tracy: Not mom, Iris. She wants me to do her a favor.
Ken: Iris? Have you heard from her already? She's only been in the United States a few days. I'd love to know how she likes living in California.
Tracy: She doesn't. She called last night and said she didn't feel well. She doesn't know how she
Ken: What's that? I know a good place where they sell dried beef and tofu. I think I'll buy some for her.
Tracy: That's very nice, but she doesn't want food as much as things for cooking food, like a wok.
Ken: A what? You must be kidding …
Tracy: No, I'm not kidding. I don't know how I'm going to send her such a big thing, and she wants me to mail it express.
Ken: Express? That could be expensive.
Tracy: I know, and she also wants a pair of kung fu shoes.
Ken:There is a shoe store where the bus stop is, they might have kung fu shoes. But why does she need them, Iris doesn't know anything about kung fu, does she?
Tracy: No, but the shoes aren't for her. She wants to give them to her new friend who has helped her a lot. He lives in her apartment building and is learning kung fu, but his shoes size is not very common, it's size 44.
Ken: Size 44. I don't know where you can find the size as big as that.
Tracy: Neither do I. I don't know why I agreed to mail her these things.
Ken: I know why, because you are the nicest sister in the world.
