第十七課: 在觀光渡輪上。
Lesson 17: Out on the Ferry
在這一課中，利奧帶領杰克和蒙納登上了一艘觀光渡輪。我們從他
們的對話中要學習如何提醒客人注意自己的安全，如何確認客人是
否舒適以及在向客人介紹觀光景點時可以使用的一些句型。
現(xiàn)在先讓我們一起來聽聽這節(jié)對話的第一部份。這部份對話的場景
是:利奧、杰克和蒙納登上了一艘觀光渡輪，正準備出發(fā)去觀看海
豚。
Leo: Just follow me.
Leo: Where would you like to sit?
Leo: Inside or outside?
Jack: Where do you recommend?
Leo: Outside.
Leo: There’s a much better view.
Leo: Watch your step.

Leo: Be careful of the ropes.
Leo: What about here?
Jack: This looks fine.
Leo: Are you comfortable, Ms White?
Mona: Fine, thanks.
Leo: Can I get you anything?
Mona: I’m right, thanks.

請注意聽利奧在提醒他的客人注意安全時是怎么說的。
利奧: 注意臺階。
Leo: Watch your step.
利奧: 請小心那些纜繩。
Leo: Be careful of the ropes.
請注意，當我們提醒客人注意安全時我們通?？梢允褂玫木湫陀幸?下幾種: Be careful……, Watch your………或者mind
your……， 至于應該使用哪個句型，則要看當時的具體情況而定。

現(xiàn)在讓我們來聽聽利奧如何詢問客人的感受。
懷特女士，你坐得舒適嗎？

您還需要什么東西嗎？
Leo: Can I get you anything?
在向客人提出這樣的問題之前，你要憑借自己的觀察判斷是否有必
要這樣做。因為有些客人比較隨意，并不需要別人給予過多的關(guān)
注，而有些客人則不然。例如，懷特女士的父親杰克為人就非常隨
和，如果你向他提出這類的問題，也許他還會感到有些不自在呢。
但是有些客人出于某種原因就需要比較多的關(guān)注，例如對懷特女
士，也就是蒙納。無論怎樣，我想你還是要記住這些句型，以備不
時之需吧。

在這幾句對話中，利奧使用了over on the left……. Up there
on the right……you can see…..等幾個在旅游業(yè)中非常有用的短
語。請跟著老師一起練習使用這些短語。我會先給出中文，請你在
