第15課 Sixpence Worth of Trouble
1、 Father, of course, a regularsupply of pocket money, but uncles and aunts are always a source ofextra income.

表示價(jià)值多少的意思。。也可以表示多少代價(jià)的意思。。。

5、 George wasnot too upset by his experience because the lady who owns the sweet shopheard about his troubles and rewarded him with a large box of chocolates.
不過(guò)，此事并沒(méi)使喬治過(guò)于傷心，因?yàn)樘枪昀习迥锫?tīng)說(shuō)了他遇到的麻煩后，賞給他一大盒巧克力。
