Allen’s Fear
艾倫的恐懼
Allen does not like high places.
艾倫不喜歡高處。
Allen would never climb a ladder.
艾倫從不爬上梯子。
“No way!”
“沒門！”
Allen would never even try to slide.
艾倫甚至從不試著去滑滑梯。
“Too scary!”
“太令人害怕了！”
Allen would never jump off a diving board.
艾倫從不從跳水板上跳下。
“Not me!”
“我不要！”
Allen would never climb a tall tree.
艾倫從不爬上高的樹木。
“Oh,wait a minute!What’s that?”
“哦，等一下！那是什么？”
Allen’s kitty is up in the tree!
艾倫的小貓在樹上！
It is not a very tall tree,but it looks tall to Allen.
它不是一棵很高的樹，但是它對艾倫來說看起來很高。
“I cannot leave my kitty in the tree!”
“我不能丟下我的小貓在這棵樹上！”
But how will Allen get his kitty down?
但是艾倫怎樣把他的小貓弄下來呢？
Allen calls for someone to help get his kitty.
艾倫喊人來幫助他的小貓。
“Help!Please get my kitty down!”
“幫忙！請把我的小貓弄下來！”
No one answers.
沒有人回答。
There is no one around to help.
周圍沒有人來幫忙。
Allen begins to cry.
艾倫開始哭泣。
Then,his dad comes outside.
然后，他的爸爸來到外面。
“Why are you crying?”
“你為什么在哭泣？”
“Dad,my kitty is up in the tree.
“爸爸，我的小貓在這棵樹上。
But I cannot get him down.”
但是我不能把他弄下來?！?BR> “Let me help you get it down.”
“讓我來幫助你把它弄下來?！?BR> Slowly and carefully,he helps Allen climb onto his shoulder.
慢慢地，很小心地，他幫助艾倫爬上他的肩膀。
“Are you still scared?”
“你仍然很害怕嗎？”
“No.”
“不。”
Allen reaches for his kitty.
艾倫接近他的小貓。
Allen grabs the kitty and holds him close.
艾倫抓住小貓，緊緊地抱住他。
“Don’t worry,I will get you down.
“不要擔心，我將把你弄下來。
Now you are safe again.”
現(xiàn)在你又安全了?！?BR> “Thank you,Dad!”
“謝謝你，爸爸！”
Allen looks up at the tall tree again.
艾倫又一次往上看看這棵高高的樹。
“Hmm.That tree is not as tall now.”
“哈。那棵樹現(xiàn)在不那么高了?！?
