    1 There is的結(jié)構(gòu)用來說明人或物的存在，在漢語中可以譯為“有”。這個結(jié)構(gòu)要跟單數(shù)名詞，句中往往要有一個介詞短語來表示位置或地點。
    2 on the right (left)，在右邊(左邊)，是介詞短語，在本句中作表語。
    3 注意不要把cooker和cook混淆，cooker是爐子、鍋等炊具，不是“炊事員”。炊事員在英語中是cook。
    4 in the middle of 在...之間。
    5 在課文的第2行和第3行的名詞refrigerator前面用了兩種不同的冠詞:a(不定冠詞)和the(定冠詞)。在第2行，‘冰箱”是第提到，是指冰箱這類電器中的一個，因此要用不定冠詞a。當(dāng)?shù)?次提到冰箱時，就不是泛指任何一個冰箱，而是特指第2行中的那個冰箱了，因此要用定冠詞the。
