Some people do not enjoy shopping and shop only when they have a specific purchase to make. Others like to go shopping for pleasure whether or not they have something to buy. Which do you prefer and why?

I prefer to only go shopping when I have a specific purchase to make because for one thing, it’s important to always try and save as much money as you can. People who go out and just spend money for pleasure always seem to have more money problems because they never have any savings, and so when something happens and they actually need money, they have to get a loan from a bank and pay it off later.
For another thing, it makes you appreciate what you have when you only purchase specific things. When people don’t control their spending, they seem to become empty inside themselves and they don’t appreciate what they have because they have so much of everything.
That’s why I only go shopping when I have a specific purchase to make.
