字號(hào):

    1.Do you like reading?
No, I’m sick of reading. When I was a child, my mom used to force me to read science book and history, so I gradually lost interests in reading. As a result I feel sleepy and ratty while I’m reading now. What’s more it reminds me of the unhappy memory in the childhood.
2.What types of things (books) do you like reading?
Well, I’m a big fan of non-realistic fiction, well, it’s because the stories are not factual and quite different from routine life, which makes me feel excited. Moreover, the events and descriptions in the book are full of imagination and creativity which can easily attract my attention. Not surprisingly, I can keep reading it day and night.
3.What types of things (books) do you dislike reading?

Well, I am not interested in science, especially the science textbook, because I have to use dictionary to find the meaning of specific words to illustrate the scientific theory. Well, on top of this, the content in the book is difficult to understand. Every time I read that, I feel sleepy and depressed.
4.Do you think it’s important for children to read?
Nope, I don’t think so. It’s totally unnecessary. Obviously, children should participate in more physical activities to keep fit and healthy. Well, you know, children are active and naughty, so it’s almost impossible for them to stick in reading at home. What’s more, most of the information a book brings to them is also available on TV or Internet.
5.Would you like to write a book?
Um…well, I’ve no idea, maybe I wouldn’t. I think I don’t have any special experience compared with those famous authors. Also, I’m not good at expressing my emotion in letters and I have no confidence to write a page-turner.
6.Do you think it’s important to have public libraries?
Well, I think, no, it’s kind of useless. People can access to the virtual libraries through Internet, which is 24 hours a day seven days a week. So people who live in the outskirts or those disabled do not have to travel long distance. What’s more, the maintenance of public libraries is a waste of money, as you know, people normally don’t have time to go there.
