劃線部分是一些舉例。garish這個詞我在同學(xué)的GRE詞表里見過。tremulous可能是也可能不是。至于sharpens和abandon，這兩個詞很多人不知道背了多少遍。但是這樣的用法即使對寫作沒有助益，至少對你撩妹/漢也很有幫助啊。

我個人覺得對于想掌握托福的人像這樣的密度就可以了。畢竟如果一首歌全是生詞，你也記憶不過來。這樣的場景記憶反倒容易在腦子里留下更深刻的印象。
至于GRE單詞……很多詞匯不是拿來讓你在生活中用的。很多詞匯其實(shí)大家都知道，但是除了一部分特別老派的英國學(xué)者，當(dāng)代人哪怕是書面語都不會集中出現(xiàn)這些詞匯。不然的話就會好像你每天說話的時候，說小明這個人十分“顢頇”， 那個人唱歌“嘔啞嘲哳難為聽”。 如果真的想系統(tǒng)的復(fù)習(xí)，還是買單詞書吧。
