I grew up near a beautiful lake where my family and I would spend our weekends, swimming, rowing and playing in the water. Pollution has changed the lake completely. It is almost unrecognizable as the place I enjoyed as a young child. The ducks and other wild birds no longer live on the lake. Either they’ve died or have found homes elsewhere. The water is murky and sometimes has a slick, oily film on the surface. I think the pollution is a disgrace; that company should be ashamed of what they’ve done to a once beautiful, natural habitat.
