1.reach people on a personal level:接觸大眾
reache這里指聯(lián)系，接觸的意思。
例如：If I see her, I'll tell her you've been trying to reach her.
如果見到她，我會告訴她你一直在嘗試聯(lián)系她。
拓展：reach還有到達，伸手去碰的意思。
例如：He did not stop until he reached the door...
他走到門邊才停下。
Judy reached into her handbag and handed me a small printed leaflet...
朱蒂把手伸進提包，拿出一張小的印刷傳單給我。
reach someone:使某人理解的意思。
例如：If we could only reach them with our message, we might be able to convince them to stay in school.
如果我們所說的話能被他們理解的話，我們就可以說法他們繼續(xù)呆在學校。
2.stage:舞臺
例如：I went on stage and did my show.
我上臺作了表演。
拓展：at this stage在這個時刻。
例如：At this stage, we are better off not calling the doctor.
這時候我們后不要叫醫(yī)生。
3.boo someone off the stage把某人趕下臺。
例如：The rude audience booed the performer off the stage.
