1.might aux. v. may的過去式

1.A:I hope you are not too put out with me for stopping by Fred's on the way over here. I had to pick up an assignment.

a clock watcher 一直看鐘的人;對自己工作已經(jīng)毫無興趣可言只是混時間而已
例句：Alan was an enthusiastic teacher when he started here, but now he is a clock watcher.
艾倫開始的時候，對教學(xué)非常熱情，現(xiàn)在只是在混時間而已。
