第53課 天氣
A:The weather is terrible.
A：天氣真糟糕。
B:Yes,the wind was really blowing hard yesterday and I was wearing my heavy jacket,but it is a hot day today.
B：確實(shí)，昨天風(fēng)很大，我穿著厚夾克，但是今天又很熱。
A:Well, the weather has been so dry these days that the grass Is dying.
A：是的，這幾天天氣如此干燥，草都要干死了。
B:I hope it will rain tonight.
B：我盼望今夜下雨。
A:I do hope so. We need rain to make things green.
A：我也非常希望。我們需要一場(chǎng)雨帶來些生機(jī)。
A:What a wonderful afternoon!
A：下午天氣不錯(cuò)！
B:You are lucky to be in Hangzhou this time of year. If you happened to be here in summer, you would feel hot to death.
B：你幸虧是年中這段時(shí)節(jié)在杭州，如果碰巧夏天在這，會(huì)感到熱得要死。
A:I live in Northern China where it can be very cold during winter months with average temperature about 15 centigrade below zero.
A：我生活在中國(guó)北方，那里冬季平均溫度在零下15度左右。
B:Does it often snow during the winter?
B：那里冬天經(jīng)常下雪？
A:It used to, but now it seldom snows. It didn't snow all year around in 2008.
A：通常是這樣，但是現(xiàn)在雪少了。2008年整年都沒下雪。
B:Which season do you like best?
B：你喜歡哪個(gè)季節(jié)？
A:Autumn is my favorite season which is from September to October. The weather is comfortable and there are no mosquitoes to bother you. Nature provides a wonderful display of leaves changing color from green to yellow. But the only disadvantage is that it only lasts one month.
A：我喜歡9月到10月的秋天。那時(shí)氣候很舒服，沒有蚊子騷擾你。大自然展示了美妙的葉子由綠到黃的色彩變換?？上н@種景象只能維持一個(gè)月。
