        這個話題高頻出現(xiàn)在這兩年的機經(jīng)題目中,大家有備無患吧。
Which of the following periods in life do you think is the hardest, being a kid, a teenager or an adult.
        托福獨立口語范文:
In my opinion, the toughest period in one’s life is adulthood. There are two reasons to name. To begin with, adulthood is a period that you have to shoulder the responsibility of the whole family. You will have to work very hard in order to support your family, caring about your kids and dealing with different kinds of relationships in the society. What’ more, adulthood means less time to do whatever you want. Since you are busy with work and family stuff, doing something you like seems to be a luxurious thing. You may have no time to meet new friends, to travel, or even to get sick. Thus, I think adulthood is toughest among the three.
        其他答案
I think being a teenager is the hardest for the following reasons. First, it’s hard being a high school student. What we learn in high school is hard! We are studying so many different subjects all at the same time. There are endless assignments and tests to worry about. If I don’t get them right, I can’t face my teachers and parents. Second, there’s too much peer pressure being a teenager. People compare with each other about the clothes we wear, the shoes we put on and the grades we get. Teenagers have to try so hard to fit in to avoid being alienated at school. (答案源于網(wǎng)絡)

        Why childhood beats adulthood
        1. Making friends was easy:
It was as easy as going up to a person and simply asking him/her:
        “Will you be my friend?”
If it was a yes, you owned a new slide buddy. Life even reverted to normal if the person in question refused. There was no need of trying to act “cool” or buying the latest iPod. No fears, no tacky lines, and no grudges existed as they do now when you are a grown up.
        2.Adventure is my middle name:
As children, we would always try out new things, and never feared how it would turn out. This resulted in great experiences and learning. Don’t tell me you never plucked a few leaves off a tree and crammed them in to your mouth just to see how they would taste?
Today, however, we are deathly afraid of doing something that doesn’t align with social norms. We hardly ever take risks and life is boring to say in a word.
        3. No payments:
Children don’t have to pay for anything! School is free, food is free, mommy’s love is free, and candy is free. For adults? Well, somebody has to pay for all this free stuff.
