    1 . argue about sth 為某事而爭(zhēng)論。如：
    They always argue about [over] money. 他們總是為錢爭(zhēng)吵。
    They are arguing about [over] who lost the ball. 他們?cè)跔?zhēng)論是誰丟了球。
    注：有時(shí) argue 后可接 with sb, 表示與某人爭(zhēng)吵。如：
    He argued with the driver about the fare. 他就車費(fèi)與司機(jī)論理。
    2 . argue sb into sth 說服某人做某事。如：
    They tried to argue me into joining them. 他們?cè)O(shè)法要說服我加入他們一起干。
    We argued him out of going on such a dangerous journey. 我們說服他不去作那樣危險(xiǎn)的旅行。
    I argued him out of his opposition. 我說服他不再反對(duì)。
