21世紀被人們稱為“網絡稱雄”的時代，網絡空間(cyberspace)將是本世紀重要的戰(zhàn)略資源。網絡經濟對傳統(tǒng)經濟理論產生了重大影響，甚至改變著傳統(tǒng)經濟學中的許多理論。網絡經濟具有明顯的規(guī)模效應，規(guī)模越大，用戶越多，產品越具有標準性，所帶來的商業(yè)機會就越多，其效益就越大，但是網絡再神奇，它也不能脫離傳統(tǒng)經濟而獨立存在。脫離了傳統(tǒng)經濟，網絡經濟就成了無水之源、無本之木。
