rent v.出租;租借 n.租金
[記]房主要認(rèn)同(ren-t)租戶，才會(huì)杷房子租(rent)給他。你給的租金(rent)高，自然認(rèn)同你。
[例]The landlord expelled the tenant because he could not pay the rent on time.地主把租戶趕了出去，因?yàn)樗麤]能按時(shí)付租金。
let v.允許;讓;出租
[記]音似“來(lái)他”。來(lái)他家，得他允許(let)你來(lái);來(lái)他家，想讓他把房子出租(let)給你。
[搭]let alone 更不用說…… let go of 放開……(of表“去掉”)
[近]borrow借(找別人借東西一般都要“撥”他“揉”他)lend 借給(借給別人的東西一般都是比較“爛的”)
[例]I want to rent an apartment with the rent within my affordability.我想要租一個(gè)租得起的小套間。
We should let go of the past so that we can go to tomorrow.放得下過去才到得了以后。
hire v.雇傭;租用
[記]你好(hi),阿姨(r-e)，可以雇傭(hire)我么?
[近]employ v.雇傭
[反]fire v.解雇(也可以是“著火了”)
[例]He was hired yesterday and got fired today.他昨天剛被雇傭，今天就被炒了。
register vt.登記，注冊(cè);提出 n.登記，注冊(cè);記錄
[記]阿姨(r-e)年紀(jì)大了才找到老公，去登記、注冊(cè)那天排隊(duì)人太多，急死她(gi-s-ter)了，怕注冊(cè)不到，于是提出(register)插隊(duì)的請(qǐng)求。
[例]The aunt was late for registering her marriage information.阿姨沒來(lái)得及去登記她的結(jié)婚信息。
