2017年中考英語詞組辨析：because/ because of

Ⅰ. because 是連詞，后接句子， 是主句的直接原因，常用來回答由why 引導的特殊疑問句。如：
    ① Because he is ill, he is not here today. 因為他病了，所以今天沒來。
    ② --Why are you in a hurry?
    --Because I want to catch the first bus.
    Ⅱ.because of 是復合介詞，后接名詞或代詞，相當于名詞詞組。如：
    He can’t come because of illness. 他生病了，所以沒來。
