一、在年份中，0可讀作o或者and，還有其他讀法。例如：
1908 讀作 nineteen o eight或nineteen hundred and eight
1900 讀作 nineteen double o或nineteen hundred

二、房間編號、電話號碼等編碼中的0讀作o。例如：
Room 103 讀作 Room(number)one o three

三、在數(shù)學(xué)中的表達(dá)
0 在數(shù)學(xué)中可用zero，nought，naught表示。nought多用于英國，naught多用于美國。讀數(shù)字時，0可以不讀，而用and代替;若把數(shù)字一個一個讀出時，0可讀作o。例如：
1.數(shù)字的讀法
1，205讀作 one thousand two hundred and five
小數(shù)點(diǎn)后的數(shù)字要一個一個地讀出來，0讀作 naught或o。例如：
0.06讀作(naught)point naught six(美式英語用 zero代替naught)
2.單個的0讀作nought，naught，zero。例如：
100是一個1和兩個0寫成的。
