Every year, there are different kinds of beauty pageants and the champions will be definitely the shinning stars. However, as time past, people have seen so many beauties and they start to have higher expectation. Beauty pageant is no longer the big event, and the audience laugh at the result and are picky about these champions. The real beauty should not be defined by appearance.
每年都有各種各樣的選美比賽，冠軍肯定會成為耀眼的明星。但隨著時間的流逝，人們見的美女多了，期望開始變高。選美比賽不再是大事情，觀眾會嘲笑比賽的結(jié)果，挑剔冠軍。真正的美不應(yīng)該只通過外貌來定義。
Recently, a beauty pageant was held in Michigan, America. The girl who was born in China won the champion and became Miss Michigan. It sounded like a great trip for her, but people were critical about her appearance. They said that she was so ugly. However, if the audience had seen the competition, they must appreciate her, because she was very smart and elegant, which made her the shinning star.

The definition of beauty is no longer judged from appearance, and only the charm from inside can make a girl be attractive. Of course, wisdom is also in need, which makes a pretty face stand out, or people will forget it easily.

When we walk on the street, we are easy to be attracted by the young and skinny girls. They are thought to have the perfect body shape, which makes them stand out. The commerical ads also implant people the idea that only the skinny body shape can make them beautiful. Thus a lot of people try to lose weight by all means.
當(dāng)我們走在街上的時候，很容易會被年輕、身材苗條的女孩子吸引。人們認為她們擁有完美體型從而脫穎而出。一些商業(yè)廣告也給人們灌輸了只有瘦的體型才能夠使她們漂亮的想法。因此很多人用盡一切手段來減肥。
To be skinny, a lot of young girls choose to eat less food, some even refuse to eat food. When they are hungry, they are doing other things to distract their attention. It is known to all that having no breakfast will do harm to people’s health. It is not worth to keep thin at the cost of damaging health.
為了變得瘦，很多年輕女孩選擇少進食，有些人甚至拒絕吃飯。當(dāng)她們餓了，就做其他事情來分散注意力。眾所周知，不吃早餐會損害人們的健康。為了瘦而以健康為代價的減肥是不值得的。
Some people may say that the celebrities show them the good example of eating less food. But they ignore the fact that these people are under the experts’ direction. Even though they eat less, they keep balanced diet. That’s the secret to keep them beautiful.
有些人可能會說名人們向他們展示了少進食的好榜樣。但是他們忽略了一個事實，這些人都是在專家的指導(dǎo)下進行少食的。盡管他們少吃，但是他們還是可以保持均衡的飲食。這就是保持美麗的秘密。
Young girls should be wise and accept who they are. The healthy and confident image bring charm.
年輕女孩應(yīng)該理智點，接受本來的自己。健康和自信的形象才會帶來魅力。

Consumption is necessary. It promotes the economy. Consumption brings happiness for some people while it brings annoyance for other people, because they think it wastes the money. There are different viewpoints about consumption between the old and young generation. But I think reasonable consumption is the best.
消費是必要的,它可以促進經(jīng)濟發(fā)展。對于一些人來說，消費帶來幸福,然而對于另外一些人來說消費帶來煩惱,因為他們認為在浪費錢。老一輩的消費觀和年輕一代有所不同。但我認為合理的消費是的。
For the old generation, they are very frugal about everything, even the money. They believe that money is used for solving basic needs, and the rest of it should be saved. While for the young generation, they are more likely to use money to find fun. They like to go to the entertainment occasions, such as KTV, or go to barbecue with friends.
對于老一輩來說，他們對一切都很節(jié)儉，金錢也不例外。他們認為錢是用來解決基本需求，而剩余的則應(yīng)該存下來。而對于年輕一代，他們更傾向于通過花錢來找樂趣，他們喜歡去娛樂場合，比如KTV、或跟朋友去燒烤。
The different ways of consumption are influenced by the living situation. The old generation has gone through the hard time, so they don’t have much pursuit for the entertainment, while the young are in the opposited way. Money should be used to improve life standard, or it will lose its meaning. In my opinion, some part of the money is needed to pay for amusement and social communication.
消費方式受生活狀況的影響。老一輩經(jīng)歷了艱難困苦的日子，所以他們對娛樂沒什么追求，而年輕人卻恰恰相反。在我看來，錢應(yīng)該用于提高生活標(biāo)準(zhǔn)，不然就會失去其本身意義。有一部分的錢應(yīng)該用來支付娛樂和社交。
