比爾丟掉了他的工作,這對(duì)他是一個(gè)沉重的打擊,但他的解雇費(fèi)卻不少。所以說壞事也不全壞。
every Jack has his Jill(或Gill)<諺>人各有偶;每個(gè)男人都會(huì)找到自己臺(tái)適的伴侶
例句:"Every jack has his Jill" is a late derivation of an old children's nursery rhyme(a poem for children)that means "every person has the perfect mate out there somewhere (for him or her)".
