1 現(xiàn)在進(jìn)行完成時到底是什么時態(tài)?(I have been working hard all morning)
實際上就是指過去開始的動作持續(xù)了一段時間，直到現(xiàn)在還依然在發(fā)生，沒有停滯，這就是完成進(jìn)行時了。
2 order用法匯總(I have been trying to get my new room in order)
首先，order可以是一個動詞，表示預(yù)定，訂購，還有命令的意思；
其次，order還可以是名詞的“命令”或者“順序，秩序”，這也是其主要的意思，使用上就是課文中這個“put things in order”擺放整齊。
3 at the moment與for the moment，還有for a moment之間的區(qū)別(At the moment， they cover every inch of floor space and I actually have to walk on them to get in or out of the room. )
at the moment就是now的意思，現(xiàn)在，當(dāng)下，如she is not in for the moment.她這會兒不在；
for the moment是“暫時”的意思，如it rains just for the moment,and will stop soon.雨就下一會兒，很快會停的；
for a moment是“一會兒”的意思，please wait for a moment.請等一會兒。

1 與put相關(guān)的幾個重要短語(At last firemen have put out a big forest fire in California)
1，put on穿上，也指“長胖”2，put off推遲 3，put away收拾起來 4，put out撲滅
例1：you put on weight recently.你近長胖了。
例2：the meeting is put off because of the rain.因為陰雨會議被推遲了。
例3：put out your cigarette，now!馬上把煙給我滅掉!
2 be able to 與can 的區(qū)別( he was able to solve the mystery)
兩者意思一致，主要的區(qū)別是詞性區(qū)別，前者是動詞短語，后者是情態(tài)動詞，所以前者遵循一般be動詞的原則，后者則要遵循情態(tài)動詞的使用規(guī)則。我們可以說can be able to，但是絕對不可以說be able to can。
3 try to 與try doing的區(qū)別(they have been trying to find out how the fire began)
try doing側(cè)重于過程，不強(qiáng)調(diào)結(jié)果，所以僅僅是“試試看”“嘗試著”的意思;而 to do則注重結(jié)果，意思是“竭盡全力”“力爭”的意思。

本身意思his掛斷電話，要表示掛斷某人的電話可以說“hang up on somebody”
例: how dare you hang up on me!你竟然敢掛我的電話!
2 no sooner……than……(I had no sooner got back to the kitchen than the doorbell rang loud enough to wake the dead)
還沒等到……就……意思相當(dāng)于“hardly……when……”
例：I hadn't sooner got up than it my mother brought the breakfast.我還沒起床我媽早飯都端上來了。
3 loud enough to wake the dead
字面意思，吵得很，都能把死人吵醒。
