On New Year's Eve morning, we put on new clothes and went with our sister to set off firecrackers. A crackling sound passed through our ears, as if to send blessings to thousands of households. We were extremely happy. On New Year's Eve, after we had dinner, I watched the Spring Festival Gala with my dad, mom, and sister. That wonderful performance made my mood suddenly clear. There were cross-talk, skits, and singing and dancing... it was very beautiful.
On the first day of the Lunar New Year, as soon as I woke up, I found lucky money under my pillow, and my sister also had it. We laughed happily. After finishing the dumplings, we went to our grandmother's house to pay New Year's greetings. Our grandparents also gave us New Year's money and even brought out delicious food for us to eat.
I enjoy celebrating the Chinese New Year, it's really nice.
