Residence Halls
Our residence halls are more than buildings; they're state of the art living and learning centers. We have nine different residence halls on campus with a choice of traditional or suite-style living options. Traditional corridor-style living has rooms that open into an interior hallway with shared bathroom facilities on each floor. Suite-style living includes 2 or 3 rooms joined by a common living area and shares bathroom facilities.

HIGHLIGHTS
Carter Hall East and West are traditional corridor living facilities.
Carter Hall houses the First Year Experience community and is a first-year only residence hall.
Carter Hall offers room-controlled air conditioning. Bedrooms are two-person rooms and residents share a community bathroom.
*Students in Carter Hall are provided the standard cable package available to all on campus residents but do not have the ability to voluntarily upgrade their cable.
Carter West was built in 1964. Carter East was built in 1965.
LOCATION
Carter Hall is conveniently located close to the engineering complex and the Glass Bowl.
FUN FACT
When originally built in 1964, Carter Hall only had one wing, West. The East wing was added a year later in 1965.

FUN FACT
The Horton International House was named after Dr. Frank Horton, the 13th President of The University of Toledo. Under his tenure, UT experienced a building boom with the construction of 14 different buildings. Some of those buildings include the International House, a student health center, the Center for Visual Arts at the Toledo Museum of Art, an expansion of the Student Union and Wolfe Hall.

MacKinnon Hall is the oldest remaining residence hall and began as a men’s dormitory. It was named for Lee MacKinnon, who served as the chief academic officer of The University of Toledo three times following the death of university presidents.

Parks Tower is conveniently located near the Glass Bowl football stadium and Student Recreation Center.
FUN FACT
Built in 1971,Parks Tower was the University's first large-scale dormitory and although sometimes it appears that Parks Tower is taller than the Bell Tower, it is not. While the Bell Tower is 191'5/8" tall and Parks Tower measures 198'7", the Bell Tower is on a elevation of 621' while Parks Tower is on an elevation of 594'6". What all this means is the Bell Tower does in fact clear Parks Tower by 34'6".

ROOM RATES
You will be sent an electronic bill via your University of Toledo student e-mail address for tuition, room and or meal plans, and other fees from the Bursar's Office. Payment will be due by the date indicated on the statement. If payment is not received by the due date, the student will be in jeopardy of having her/his classes and housing canceled and/or may be subject to a $50 late fee.
TWO OPTIONS EXIST FOR PAYMENT:
Option 1: Pay in full by the indicated due date.
Option 2: Participate in UT’s Installment Payment Plan (IPP). For more information, contact the Bursar's Office at 419.530.5755.
