Eligibility is based on recognition of academic excellence and financial need. If awarded, an official notification will be sent to the recipient(s) notifying them of the amount offered. The Benjamin E. Bendat Endowed Scholarship is coordinated with all other financial and, not to exceed the Cost of Attendance (COA). We offer an extensive list of institutional scholarships, provided by the University. Awards are made based on a variety of criteria, including academic merit, financial need, specific academic programs, and the promotion of cultural diversity at the school. Recipients typically receive between $1,000 and $4,000 for one academic year. Scholarships are generally awarded at the start of the academic year and students must be enrolled full-time (6 units each term) in order to remain eligible. Please note: 100% on-line (Psychology@Pepperdine) students are not eligible for Institutional Pepperdine Scholarships.

Eligibility Criteria:
Must be a member in good standing of the Church of Christ (the International Church of Christ does not count).
Recipients are selected on the basis of financial need, merit, character, and church membership.
Application Process:
Eligible students will be invited to apply mid-June.
First-time applicants must submit a personal statement of church involvement and a letter of recommendation from an elder, deacon, or minister.
Current AWP scholarship recipients are required to submit a personal statement describing how they have continued to contribute to their church community.
Application must be submitted to the Financial Aid Office.
Application deadline is July 15th.

The Diversity Scholarship (EdD/PsyD) is awarded annually to students from an ethnic minority who have been accepted into an EdD or PsyD program at the Graduate School of Education and Psychology.
Eligibility Criteria:
Must be a member of an underrepresented ethnic minority (African-American, Asian American, Hispanic American, or Native American)
Recipients are selected on the basis of merit and character.
Application Process:
Applicants must submit a personal statement.
Application must be submitted to the Enrollment Services Office.
Application deadline is December 1st.

Eligibility Criteria:
LASD University students and their qualifying spouse and children (must apply to the program by age 25) as well as city, county, state and federal employees.
Employees must be in good standing.
A completed employment verification form must be submitted to GSEP Financial Aid Office each term.
Application Process:
Eligible students must submit an employment verification form to receive the discount before or during the term.
Verification forms can be obtained by contacting the Financial Aid Office.
Discount cannot be applied to previous terms.
L.A. Sherriffs部門大學伙伴關系獎學金

Eligibility Criteria:
Scholarships awarded to City Year alumni for at least one year of service and City Year staff members employed for at least two years.
A one-year deferral for students admitted to a graduate program who decide to serve with City Year before starting their study with Pepperdine Graduate School of Education and Psychology.
The scholarships described above represent the minimum awards. Applicants can be considered for private scholarships based on donor criteria.
Application Process:
Step 1. Apply to a program: Click here to access the Pepperdine University Graduate School of Education and Psychology's admissions website and apply online. Deadline: Application deadlines vary by program. Most programs accept applications on a rolling basis and encourage applicants to apply well in advance of the posted deadlines.
Step 2. City Year verification: To get the application fee waived and to be considered for the scholarship, a service verification letter must be requested by emailing alumni@cityyear.org with "Pepperdine GSEP" in the subject line. Within the email, include the site where you served and your corps graduation month and year. This letter will be sent electronically by City Year to university's Admissions Office and added to your applicant
Step 3. To identify and verify your City Year affiliation: Please contact the Enrollment Office by calling (800) 888-4849 or (310) 258-2850 or emailing gsep-admissions@pepperdine.edu to get the application fee waived and be considered for the scholarship described above. Please state that you served with City Year and reference our partnership.
