GRE作文是中國學(xué)生比較頭痛的，經(jīng)常準(zhǔn)備很多時間最后還是只得到3.5。我之所以得到6分，個人認(rèn)為我的文風(fēng)比較淳樸扎實，有科學(xué)性，寫的思路比較廣(正、反、特)，字?jǐn)?shù)也比較多(I800+、A700+)。

1. 無可否認(rèn)，現(xiàn)代社會充滿了競爭。競爭是社會進(jìn)步的動力：從政治角度，候選人之間的競爭使政治更加公開化，民主化，有利于選民(美國總統(tǒng)大選);從經(jīng)濟角度，商家，產(chǎn)家之間的競爭促進(jìn)產(chǎn)品質(zhì)量的提高，消費者受益，比如各種不同廠家手機的競爭，使得手機的價格越來越低;從體育角度，individual之間的競爭體現(xiàn)了人類超越自我的人性(Olympic spirit)
2. 培養(yǎng)youth的競爭意識能使他們具備適應(yīng)社會的生存能力，為追求自己的理想而奮斗。競爭可以更好的發(fā)揮youth的潛力和能力，比如學(xué)校的獎學(xué)金的分配，培養(yǎng)了學(xué)生的競爭意識，使得他們更好的學(xué)習(xí)，去爭取獎學(xué)金。在這個過程中他們也掌握了一定的知識。畢竟要成為leader，需要通過與其他candidate的競爭。只有懂得取競爭才能表現(xiàn)出自己的優(yōu)點從而成為領(lǐng)導(dǎo)
3. 然而合作意識teamwork也很重要，只有和他人合作才能共同進(jìn)步，懂得合作才能更加了解一個team成員的有點和不足，才能更好的成為一個有效的領(lǐng)導(dǎo)者。(Nobel prize winner are a group of scientists)籃球比賽的時候，在不斷的合作中，這個隊伍是才能贏得比賽的。
4. 結(jié)論：應(yīng)該培養(yǎng)當(dāng)代年輕人同時具有競爭和合作意識(mutually compensate)
