1. used to與be used to的區(qū)別
概念解釋:used to表示過去某段時間內通常的一種做法,我們前面曾經(jīng)講過;be used to則表示任何時間概念上的一種習慣,具體是什么時間概念,取決于be動詞的時態(tài)形式。
示例1:I used to smoke.(說的是過去的事情,包含的意思就是:現(xiàn)在不了)
示例2:I didn’t use to sleep late at night.(說的是過去的事情,現(xiàn)在不了)
示例3:Are you used to such humid hot weather?(說的是現(xiàn)在習慣與否)
示例4:I wasn’t used to speaking English in front of Chinese people.(說的是過去的習慣)
示例5:You’ll be//get used to working late.(講的是將來會習慣的事情)
示例6:I still haven’t been used to eating with chopsticks.(現(xiàn)在還沒改變過來)
2. 倒裝句
概念解釋:某些時候,為了強調某一點,或者是在特定的句型結構中,我們需要使用倒裝句,即:把句子的謂語(2)和主語(1)倒換一下位置。多數(shù)情況下,使用倒裝句的場合是在某些否定詞或only等放在句子最前面時。
示例1:I have never seen such a big cockroach before.==>Never have I seen such a big cockroach before.
示例2:I neither smiled nor cried when that happened to me.==>Neither did I smile nor cry when that happened to me.
示例3:I only smoke cigarettes when I’m thinking hard.==>Only when I’m thinking hard do I smoke cigarettes.
示例4:I not only gave him food but also gave him money.==>Not only did I give him food but also give him money.
