Paul: These buildings look so French.
Wei: None of the other American cities we've visited looked quite like this.
Paul: The history here is different. First it was a native city, then French, then Spanish, and finally American.
Wei: How did it become American?
Paul: The U.S. government bought it from Napoleon.
Wei: The Louisiana Purchase! I've read about that.
Paul: That's why there are so many French looking buildings with pretty balconies.
Wei: Let's go inside and keep Trev company.
