莫第二季度出口增長20%

Maputo， Mozambique， 12 Dec – Exports from Mozambique increased by 20 percent year-on-year in the second quarter driven by sales of electricity and natural products， the Mozambican statistics institute said Friday.

    According to the latest edition of the economic climate bulletin of the National Statistics Institute （INE）， exports in the second quarter totaled US$398.4 million， a 1.2 percent increase on the previous quarter.
    根據(jù)莫國家統(tǒng)計局的經(jīng)濟(jì)氣候公報，莫第二季度的出口額總計3.984億美元，比第一季度增長1.2%.
    Foreign electricity sales， which are from the Cahora Bassa hydroelectric plant， increased by 80 percent in the period， the report said.

    There were also significant increases in exports of natural products such as fish and cashew nuts.

    Imports increased 14.7 percent year-on-year in the second quarter and 1.7 percent against the previous quarter， totaling US$553 million.

    The balance of trade deficit increased by 5 percent against the second quarter of last year to US$154.7 million.
