Tracy: Because today I am going to take you for lunch at the most expensive restaurant in London. 因?yàn)槲掖蛩憬裉鞄闳惗刭F的餐館吃貴的午餐。
Yang Li: Wow! Are you sure you can afford it? 請我去倫敦貴的餐廳吃飯？你請得起嗎？
Tracy: Don't worry about that Li. I've got lots and lots of money. In fact, I'm loaded. 莉，這個(gè)不用擔(dān)心。我有很多很多的錢。事實(shí)上，我很有錢。
Yang Li: Loaded? 有錢？
Tracy: Yes, I'm loaded. L.O.A.D.E.D. Loaded. 是的，我有錢。
Yang Li: So loaded means you have lots of money then? 所以這個(gè)單詞是有很多錢的意思？
Tracy: Exactly right. 完全正確。
Yang Li: 原來 loaded means 非常的有錢。Well, if you're loaded and want to invite me to lunch, I'll be most happy to come with you. 嗯，如果你很有錢并且很想請我吃飯的話，我會很樂意跟你去的。

Example
A: I think football players get paid far too much money. 我想足球運(yùn)動員能拿很多錢。
B: I know. Can you imagine being loaded like that? Having expensive cars and lots of houses—it must be incredible. 我知道。你能想象有錢成什么樣子嗎？有很貴的車和很多房子——很難想象。
A: I can't afford to go out tonight. I've spent all my money. 今晚出去我沒錢花了。我的錢都花完了。
B: Don't worry. I'm loaded right now. I'll treat you to a night out. 別擔(dān)心。我現(xiàn)在很有錢。今晚出門的費(fèi)用我來出。
Yang Li: 看來 loaded 這個(gè)詞即表示某人很富有，也可以用來表示某人現(xiàn)在手里很有錢。
Tracy: Yes, but of course being loaded is a relative idea. What is a lot of money for some people may seem a small amount to someone much richer. 是的，但是當(dāng)然有錢只是相對的。一定量的錢對于一些人來說是很多的而對另一些人來說是很少的。
Yang Li: That's true. Are there any other words with the same meaning as loaded? 這倒是真的。還有其他詞是跟有錢意思相近的嗎？
Tracy: Of course, one thing we all know about English is that there are always lots of alternative ways to say something. 當(dāng)然，我們都知道的關(guān)于英語的一件事就是表達(dá)很豐富。
Yang Li: Well, let's have some examples then. 嗯，給些例子吧。
Tracy: Ok, another way to say I have lots of money is to say, I'm minted. 好的，另一種表示很有錢的說法是：I'm minted。
Yang Li: I'm minted.
Tracy: Or I'm rolling in it.
Yang Li: I'm rolling in it. Rolling就是打滾的意思。就是說，我錢多得可以在錢堆里打滾。Great, well since you're loaded, I'll be happy to accept your invitation to lunch. 太棒了，既然你很有錢，我很高興接受你吃午餐的邀請。
