Zina: And in the meantime, how do you pay the rent?

Dave: I don't have to worry about rent. I live right here.

big time是在口語中常?？梢月牭降亩陶Z，用來強(qiáng)調(diào)句中程度的高，意即“超級(jí)，非常”，可以當(dāng)做副詞用：
A:I need to go to the bathroom, big time!
我得要上廁所，超急的！
B:There's a toilet over there. Why don't you go?
那里就有廁所。你為什么不去？
也可以當(dāng)做形容詞，寫做big-time：
A:She is a big-time movie producer!
她是個(gè)的電影制片！
B:Really? Why haven't I heard of her before then?
真的？那怎么我以前從沒聽說過她？
1) If you don't mind my asking. 若你不介意我問起的話。這是客氣的詢問句。要注意的是，mind 的后面要接動(dòng)名詞；而若提到是誰問的，則要用所有格。
2) launch (n., v.) 事業(yè)登場(chǎng)，投入市場(chǎng)
