The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen ("University") is established in accordance with the Regulations of the People's Republic of China on Chinese-foreign Cooperation in Running Schools upon approval of the Ministry of Education. It inherits the educational philosophy and academic systems of The Chinese University of Hong Kong. It is intended to evolve into a world class research university with strong Chinese cultural influence. It is committed to nurturing high end talents with global perspective, Chinese tradition and social responsibility.
At present, the University has programmes in science, engineering, economic management, and humanities and social science. Its long term goal is to recruit 11,000 domestic and international students, 7,500 of whom will be undergraduate students and 3,500 Masters or PhD students. The University is located at 2001, Longxiang Boulevard, Longgang District, Shenzhen, to the south of the Dayun Park and to the north of Longxiang Boulevard, occupying about one million square meters.
The President is responsible for the management of the University under the leadership of the Governing Board, a system that is in line with international practice. This is a positive step towards a modern university system with Chinese features. The University hires first class teaching staff from around the world and those teachers that have been employed are mostly renowned professors and scholars from world class universities, including several Nobel Prize laureates and academicians.
The University is featured with an international learning environment, a bilingual teaching pedagogy, a collegiate system, general education courses, multidisciplinary programmes and a student-centered educational philosophy.
The University stresses the importance of academic links and global perspective. Currently we have concluded agreements with a number of prestigious universities to jointly nurture undergraduate and post-graduate students. In 2015, 40% of the first year undergraduate students participated in summer schools and other exchange programmes.
In response to the call of the nation and the Pearl River Delta region for emerging and strategic industries, the University is planning to form a world class expert team and to forge a platform for international technology innovation in robotics and intelligent manufacturing, big data, new energy, and finance and logistics.
Up to now, 1,000 outstanding undergraduate and graduate students from China and around the world have commenced their study at the University. Currently available programmes cover global business studies, economics, marketing and communication, finance, new energy science and engineering, statistics and big data, computer science and engineering, electronic information engineering, financial engineering, and translation and simultaneous interpreting.

學(xué)術(shù)/教學(xué)職位-人文學(xué)院 Academic/Teaching Post- School of Humanities and Social Science
1. Lecturer/ Assistant Lecturer - Physical Education - The School of Humanities and Social Science (Ref.2016/002/01)
Applicants should have (i) a Master degree or above in Physical Education or Sports Science; if major in Bachelor degree is not Physical Education or Sports Coaching, coach qualification of International Sports Association or at least 2ndgrade athlete qualification of General Administration of Sports in China will be required; (ii) relevant experience in teaching and coaching at University level; and (iii) knowledge of Chinese and English.
The appointee will be responsible for (a) teaching physical education courses for undergraduates including international students (activities may include tennis, badminton, physical conditioning, basketball, volleyball, track & field, swimming, handball, soccer, table tennis, squash), as well as courses in fitness and health; (b) undertaking coaching during term time and summer months; and (c) assisting in organizing sports activities and in administrative duties related to physical education.
The appointee is expected to commence work at May 2016, in preparation for the start of teaching in September 2016.
2. Lecturer/Assistant Lecturer - Information Technology - The School of Humanities and Social Science (Ref.2016/003/01)
Applicants should have (i) a higher degree, at least at MPhil level or above, in computer science or equivalent; (ii) proven record of teaching experience at tertiary level; (iii) a good command of English.
The appointee will be responsible for (a) teaching an IT course within the University core requirement for all undergraduate students; (b) designing e-learning materials; and (c) assisting in administrative assignments.
The appointee is expected to commence work around May 2016, in preparation for the start of teaching in September 2016.
3. Senior Lecturer /Lecturer/ Assistant Lecturer - Translation / Interpreting - The School of Humanities and Social Science (Ref.2016/004/01)
The School of Humanities and Social Science at CUHK(SZ) invites applications for faculty positions in translation and interpreting studies and/or simultaneous Interpreting at the Senior Lecturer/Lecturer/Assistant Lecturer levels.
Applicants should have (i) a higher degree, at least at MPhil level or above, in translation and interpreting studies and/or simultaneous interpreting; and (ii) proven record of teaching excellence, and relevant experience in teaching training courses at postgraduate level.

This program aims to foster researches on all issues related to the development of Chinese economy and financial system. The applicant should have a) a Bachelor degree, a higher degree and overseas higher education background would be advantageous; b) at least one year relevant experience, preferably with tertiary institutions; c) excellent writing skills in both English and Chinese; and d) Ability and initiative to work independently when required.
Duties include i) providing secretarial services to the office; ii) assisting with the coordination of the external affairs of the office; and iii) undertaking other assignment requested by the supervisor. Working during non-office hours may be needed.

任職資格:1、大專以上學(xué)歷;2、一年或以上工作經(jīng)驗(yàn);具有高校工作經(jīng)驗(yàn)者優(yōu)先;3、具備良好的英語聽說讀寫能力和良好的文字表達(dá)能力;4、責(zé)任心強(qiáng),細(xì)致認(rèn)真,具備良好的團(tuán)隊(duì)精神;5、視工作需要承擔(dān)周末或其他非工作日加班。
崗位職責(zé):1、負(fù)責(zé)安全小組內(nèi)辦文、辦會(huì)、信息、歸檔等文秘工作;2、負(fù)責(zé)安全小組內(nèi)日常行政及后勤保障工作;3、協(xié)助安全經(jīng)理與主管組織開展校內(nèi)安保管理、服務(wù)與教育工作;4、完成領(lǐng)導(dǎo)交辦的其他工作。
Outline: Responsible for the daily administration duties of the security section of the University.
