課堂討論時(shí)，公司開會(huì)brainstorming時(shí)，同學(xué)聚會(huì)爭論某個(gè)問題時(shí)，都需要我們適時(shí)表達(dá)自己的意見。怎么樣表達(dá)才能讓別人聽到并注意到呢？今天，我們就來說一說表達(dá)意見的不同方式。
1. 表達(dá)自己意見
I think that... 我認(rèn)為... （簡單的表達(dá)，也直接）
It seems to me that... 在我看來... （可以用作表達(dá)意見，或者總結(jié)或者認(rèn)可對方說的話）
I would argue that...我是這么看的... （這里面用would來弱化語氣）
Just to go along with what you said... 順著你剛才說的，... （這句話，真的很好用，承上啟下。這句話還好在，它使你現(xiàn)在插話看上去很合理，因?yàn)槟闶菫榱隧樦懊娴哪莻€(gè)人繼續(xù)說）
Going back to what xxx said... 回到剛才XXX說的，... （同上。不過一般是你已經(jīng)說了幾句，此事，想要與別人剛剛提到過或者蜻蜓點(diǎn)水說的的東西扯上點(diǎn)關(guān)系。這句話的好處就是，一能讓別人看到我的說法和你是有一致之處的， 二能表現(xiàn)他剛才說的東西你還有印象）
2. 同意或者反對
I agree with you. 我同意你說的。（簡單的）
Building on what XX has just said, ....就剛才XXX說的，...
I am with you..., but [main point]. 我明白你的意思，不過... （這里I am with you不一定表示同意也不一定表示反對，它主要的意思是說"你說的我聽懂了/我跟上你說的了）
I follow your logic, but have you thought about/considered this... [main point]...? 你說的我明白了，但是你有沒有想過...（和上面一句話的邏輯是一樣的）
I see what you are saying, but I'm not sure I would argue that... 我明白你的意思，不過我不確定我的觀點(diǎn)與你一致... （和上面兩句話的邏輯一樣）
With all due respect, I think... 恕我直言，我認(rèn)為...
3. 謙虛的反對
Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't [a different topic]...? 如果我說錯(cuò)了，請你們指正，不過是不是...?
I'm not an expert on..., it seems to me that... 我在這方面是外行，在我看來...
I might be wrong, but ... 可能我理解錯(cuò)了，不過...
I suspect that I lack some information about this aspect, but here is my two cents. 可能我對這方面的信息了解不夠充分，我的看法是...
I am not sure about this..., you might want to check with Professor X... Would you mind letting me know what he/she says? 這個(gè)我不太確定，或許你可以找XX教授確認(rèn)一下。到時(shí)候麻煩你告訴我一下他是怎么說的，可以嗎？
This is one way to look at it. Another way to look at it might be.... 你這是一種看法，我另外還有一種看法是...（這句話通常在別人說了一堆之后，為了引出自己的觀點(diǎn)時(shí)使用）
4. 疑惑追問
Just to clarify,... 我想確認(rèn)一下...
May I ask a follow-up question? 我能就你說的問個(gè)問題嗎？
Could you say more (about it)? 你能多解釋一下嗎？
Could you elaborate on this? 你能詳細(xì)解釋一下嗎？
上述的句子都是在聽了別人的看法之后，不確定自己是否理解正確，所以追問，讓別人詳細(xì)解釋一下。
5. 會(huì)議報(bào)告、演講之后提問
That's an amazing model/useful concept, but it occurred to me that [this/something] might also play a role....Have you considered ...?
Thanks for your talk. I completely agree with your conclusion, but as I'm sure you're aware, Dr. XX explains this in a different way, and I was wondering if you could address her theory.
這種提問的開場白多是肯定之前報(bào)告和演講的意義，然后再提出自己的問題。
"but as I'm sure you're aware"完全是給對方一個(gè)臺(tái)階下，可能那個(gè)理論他根本沒有考慮過。但是如果對方是比較資深的，我們也需要客套一下。
6. 尋求幫助
I was wondering if I could talk to you about...
I was hoping that if I could talk to you about...
I was wondering if it'd be possible that you...
上述句子均表示：不知我是否可用跟您請教.../您可否...
這種句式一般都是用過去時(shí)，在email里面也是如此。而且，雖然was wondering/hoping這種進(jìn)行時(shí)看起來很怪，但是用法就是這樣子的
Sorry to bother you, Professor X.... XX教授，抱歉打擾您。
I realize this is an unusual request... 我知道這樣的要求有些不合常理。
I realize that you are very busy... 我知道您很忙。
Thanks for your time.謝謝您抽出寶貴時(shí)間。

It would be great if you could... 如果您能夠...那就太好了。（這個(gè)是常用的，尤其是email里面）
