Most Americans drive automatic now. It’s impressive when an American can drive stick: 大多數(shù)美國人現(xiàn)在都開自排擋，會開手排擋很有本事
But if you have a fast car with a big engine that’s an automatic, people will think you’re a wimp: 但是如果你開了一輛速度快、引擎大的車，卻是自動擋，那別人會覺得你很沒用
If you’re going to drive a race car, it has to be stick/clutch: 你如果想開賽車、跑車，一定得開手動檔
美國人不問“排氣量”， 問“馬力”
Emission: 排氣量
Horsepower:馬力
Torque: 轉(zhuǎn)矩
We don't really ask "what's your car emission": 我們不太問“你的車排氣量多少”？
We ask what's the horsepower? 我們會問你的車馬力多少？
