1.第2句中的“位于亞洲東部、太平洋西岸，面積960萬平方公里”可譯成并列結(jié)構(gòu)，但譯文會略顯平淡，故將“位于亞洲東部、太平洋西岸”用過去分詞短語located in...譯出，作地點狀語，使譯文層次分明、結(jié)構(gòu)豐富。
